Artist Bio

Carol M. Rumen graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an Emphasis in Illustration. They hope to create memorable characters, comics, and illustrations to inspire others and grow their portfolio.

Artist Statement

The collection I have assembled here is geared toward furthering my portfolio as a character designer, illustrator, and comic artist. The themes are fantasy and character design focused. My work has been described as clean, crisp, colorful, and creative. The pieces are small to medium in size and made for personal viewing. Most work I produce is traditional ink on paper, marker, color pencil, and occasionally digital.
